Welcome to my personal space! I am a senior research associate at parallel programming lab, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, focusing on the intersection of high performance computing (HPC) and AI with a keen interest in computer vision applications.

Background

I obtained my Ph.D. in computer science with highest distinction (Summa cum laude) in 2021 from TU Darmstadt under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Felix Wolf and Dr. Ali Jannesari. Prior to that, I obtained both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degress from Isfahan University of Technology.

My keen interest lies in the system side of AI, particularly in enhancing the performance of AI applications on edge devices through a holistic approach known as full-stack AI. This approach encompasses a broad range of strategies, including accelerating the training processes of AI models, designing neural networks that are both effective and efficient, implementing techniques to compress these models without compromising their performance, and deploying them in a manner that maximizes their efficiency and portability on edge devices.
